Thomas J. McCoy is President of the Employee Engagement Institute and a noted author, consultant and speaker. In 1993 he established himself as a pioneer in the employee engagement movement with his groundbreaking book “Compensation and Motivation”. He is considered a thought-leader on the topics of compensation, organizational culture systems, and management practices that drive profitable growth, improve employee retention, and improve customer satisfaction.
Tom has over 35 years experience developing pay systems and company cultures for private and public companies in the U.S., Europe, and South America. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, quoted in Newsweek and nominated for SHRM’s Michael J. Losey award for his work in the field of Human Performance.
He holds a Lean/Six Sigma certificate from Villanova University, a coaching certification from the Johnston Institute and Bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of MENSA, a Marine Corps veteran and a volunteer board member for the non-profit organization Support KC.
